What’s Plated History?

Plated History is a passion project created by Monét in 2023. It consists of both a newsletter and podcast highlighting the work of people from around the world through conversation while sharing food and experiences at the dinner table.

Wait…Who’s Monét?

Monét is a late-20-year-old American who’s now living in Lisbon, Portugal. After years of working in the start-up field, she is now pursuing all things that provide joy which includes adapting to living close to a fresh body of water and breaking bread with folks while learning more about others & the world.

If she’s not working on Plated History, she is most likely at a concert, watching music videos on YouTube, talking someone’s ear off about her love for poetry, hiking up the hills of Lisbon, or determining whether or not it will rain.

Oh, but if you’re her parents reading this, there is also a great possibility that Monét is being a diligent student writing her thesis.
